1. If it were up to you to make the decision, would you let the sweatshop workers become legal U.S. citizens? Why or why not?

I would because they do all this work for little pay and work more than most American so why not let them become a part of this country ?

2. Describe a moment in from parts 1, 2, or 3 of this movie that you found particularly memorable? Why?

I found memorable that a lot of people worked so hard like when a lot of the mothers dont even have time to spend with their kids,because they work so much.Also when everyone got a chance to tell their background story.

3. By the end of part 3, the protestors seem to be giving up hope. If you were able to speak to the group, what would you say to them to inspire them to keep going

I would say to never give up,because someone has to listen.And that they've been working all this long and hard for over a year so it makes no sense to quit now.lastly they should think that what if all the people who made it today and in the past gave up .

Halloween Party !!!!

Yesterday was the Halloween party for middle schoolers.It was pretty fun and I was A vampire.Not that many people dressed up but it was still cool.When I first walked in barely anyone knew who I was and I looked really creepy lol.Though most people said that I had the best costume,I still didn't win for the i pod.Brianna,Naiomi,Edwin,yesenia,was all there.krisdyonia was flaver flav.Sobels little brother(i forget his name)was Michael Jackson r.i.p which looked awesome.There was also a fake elvis,and a bunny from alice in wonderland who won.It was really fun when tick tok by ke$ha came on,and we all jumped on stage and jumped up and down and fist pumped.But the party didnt end well because we we told that someone was attacked and we had to walk home in groups.Its was fun scaring little kids...hehe

Forever 21 blames the contracters by the sweatshos,because they were told that the clothes needed to to be made cheap and fast,then the contracters told the manufactures that the clothes needed to be made cheap and easy.

That they are saying that its not their fault and not their problem.Also no one will listen to the protesters.

The workers are still protesting because they want to fight for their rights, and other people too.

Made In L.A Part 1

The life of sweatshop workers is the same as those in indonesia is the same because they are both paid low wages and are are kept in low conditions.Also no one really knows or cares about weather they are living a decent life or not.Its different because Indonesia has worse conditions.For example they have to live with other families and can barely even afford food or clothes.Also they are way to terrified to even think about saying what the think is right or not,for fear of losing their jobs.

New comers end up working at sweat shops instead of lawers and stuff like that because some of them don't have their papers and with sweat shops they don't care about that stuff.Also most likly they can't speak english wich most jobs require.

At the end of the movie I think that they;ll end up speaking their mind and tell Forever 21 that its not right the way they're treating them because their people too.

The most challenging thing about this project was making and controlling the steps for each fish to make.The most I am proud of is making the bubbles so it coud move in and out of the fish,I drew mouth.

Nike workers made $1.25 a day,and worked 12-15 hours a day.


Life for indonesian workers at home was not good.For example they had to share homes with many different families.Their only toilet ran through the streets.They also survived on limeted funds and lived on very low living standards.


Nike wont speak to Mike or Leslie because they dont want them to inerfer with Nike shoes causing people to not want to buy the shoes.They wont let them inside because the know that Mike and Leslie will harass them until they want they want.

To make a decent living means to not have everything you want in life,but just so you wouldn't really have to struggle a lot .You should be able to by the basic stuff like clothes,food.a place to live...

My sneakers come from my mom,and other family sometimes and also the store too.I guess my sneakers come from the sneaker factory...

I just saw the music video for If Today Was Your Last Day by Nickelback,if today were was my last day I would want to spend a lot of time with my family and close friends.Also I would want to tie lose ends with some people to make piece.I would also want to tell certain people what I always wanted to tell them.Finally I would do one of the craziest things ever,with a lot of thrill.

Do different piercings say different things about people ?
Yes I think sometimes because if you see a person with plugs and their eyebrows,noise,tonge ,and eyes pierced then you think of something differently of someone with just their ears pierced.
Is there a such thing as too many piercings ?
Yes there is like if you can barely see someones face,or they just look plain weird...

Remote Control War

1.How is fighting an enemy with predator drones different from fighting from hand to hand combat.How is it similar ?
Its different because in predator drones you don't really see the person,face to face.Its similar because you destroy people.
2.Is it fair to fight with predator drones when your enemy doesn't have that the technology ?
No not really because first off its your enemy so your not really suppose to care and second its not fair because your watching them when they cant watch you.
3.Would you be interested in flying predator drones for the military ?
No because its like a violent video game i would not like to be a part of...

SIX FLAGS TOMORROW!!!

Tomorrow 701 702 803 and 602 are going to six flags.We have to be at the school before 7:30 and I guess we leave at 8:00.Everyones like so excited that we already have our groups planned out.Also we have what rides were going on first.1 is skull mountin,then its the dark knight then superman and batman,some others rides and...kingda ka the tallest and maybe even fastest rollercoaster in the world...and if I survive that the nitro! We cant go in the water park which sucks but at least were going to the park. Soo excited!!!!!

Today we found out that 702 and 803 won the six flags trip! Its on june 9 which is next week.

Tap Water

Is bottled water cleaner and tastier than tap water ?

no because tap and bottled water are ususaly the same or sometimes tap water is even dirtier

Bottled water is made in a factory and when the bottles are put in someone elses backyard.

To help solve the bottled water problem I could stop buying so much bottled water,only when i need to.

Silence/noise

Are you a person who usually listens to music and studies ?

Somtimes it depends on what type of music but usually not, id just have the tv on or something.

I forget my score but it was okay because i only did pretty bad on the different types of music.

Where there any kinds of music that distracted you more than others ?

yes the hip hop kind because it was like really loud.
